Courvoisier VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) is a renowned, skillfully blended Cognac famous for its delicate floral notes and superb balance. This expression is often referred to as the ‘Cognac of Napoleon’, due to historical ties and its reputation for quality, which helped establish its prominence.
Sourced from the Fins Bois and Petite Champagne crus, the eaux-de-vie are carefully aged for between 8 and 12 years—well beyond the minimum four years required for the VSOP designation. This extended maturation, primarily in fine-grained French oak, yields a beautifully aromatic, fragrant, and exceptionally smooth spirit. It presents a sophisticated balance of light vanilla and spiced wood notes with the distinctive aroma of ripe apricot and spring flowers.
